Malaysia's Best Sports Betting Platform
From weekend EPL fixtures to BWF badminton tournaments featuring Malaysian players, monkey88 offers the most complete sports betting platform for Malaysian users — with competitive odds, full live betting, and deposits as easy as Touch 'n Go or DuitNow.
For sports fans in Malaysia, nothing beats watching an EPL match on the weekend with a little financial stake on the line. Monkey88 has built a Sports Betting experience that genuinely understands the tastes and needs of Malaysian sports fans — not just a generic platform imported from overseas and translated.
The most notable difference is in local sports coverage. Liga Super Malaysia and the FAM Cup have full coverage on monkey88 — not just the big clubs, but matches across state teams as well. For badminton fans, monkey88 offers odds on every BWF World Tour tournament featuring Malaysian players, from Lee Zii Jia in men's singles to the country's mixed doubles pairs. This level of local coverage is something Malaysian sports fans genuinely value and rarely find on international platforms that are more focused on European markets.
On top of that, Monkey88's interface is built with smartphones in mind — because most Malaysian sports fans watch matches and make betting decisions on their phones, not a desktop. Deposits can be completed in seconds using Touch 'n Go eWallet or DuitNow, both already part of everyday life in Malaysia.

The EPL is the main draw, with every match across all 10 weekend pitches available for both pre-match and live betting. But Monkey88's coverage goes well beyond just the EPL.
The Malaysia Super League receives special attention at Monkey88. For fans who follow the local league closely – familiar with Johor Darul Ta'zim's squad depth, Selangor FC's recent form, or Kedah Darul Aman's home record – that insider knowledge can be a genuine advantage when making more precise betting decisions compared to the casual viewer. Monkey88 provides up-to-date team statistics, head-to-head records, and player data for every Super League match, so you have everything you need before placing your bet.
For international football, Monkey88 covers La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and many more. From regular season fixtures to championship finals, it's all available with competitive odds and a wide range of bet types.
One of the standout features of Monkey88's sports platform is the sheer range of betting options available for every football match. It's not just about picking a winner — major matches offer over 50 bet types, letting you put every angle of your match knowledge to work:

Log in to your monkey88 account and select "Sports" from the main menu. You'll see a full list of available sports organised by category. Choose your favourite — football, badminton, tennis, NBA, or others — then filter by league or tournament for a more focused view.
Click on the match you're interested in. Select your bet type from the available options – 1X2, handicap, over/under, or any other available market. Click on your chosen odds and they'll be added to your betslip. You can add multiple bets to a single betslip to place an accumulator bet.
Enter your stake in the betslip (minimum RM1), review the bet summary and potential payout displayed, then click "Confirm Bet." Odds are locked once the bet is confirmed. Watch the match, and any winnings will be credited automatically to your monkey88 account balance once the result is declared.
More than just placing bets — a complete Sports Betting experience
Odds update every second as the match unfolds. Every goal, yellow card, and corner can shift the odds significantly. Players who watch matches live and act quickly have a major advantage in live betting at Monkey88.
Before each match, Monkey88 displays comprehensive statistics – last 5 match records, head-to-head history, recent goal stats, home/away records, and player injury data. All the information you need, in one platform.
Watch the match on your phone and bet within the same app without switching devices. The Monkey88 sports interface is optimised for smaller screens, with an easily accessible betslip and odds that are clear to read while you watch.
The cash-out feature lets you settle a bet before the match ends — lock in an early profit or reduce your losses when the game turns against you. Full control stays in your hands, without waiting for the final whistle.
Badminton in Malaysia is more than just a sport – it's a national identity. From the era of the Sidek Brothers to Lee Chong Wei's decade-long dominance, and now a new generation led by Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia, and Wooi Yik Chia carrying the legacy forward, Malaysians share a deep emotional connection with the sport. Monkey88 understands this significance and makes badminton one of the most prominently featured sports on our Sports Betting platform.
Badminton coverage at Monkey88 spans all BWF World Tour levels – from Super 100 to Super 1000, including the Malaysia Open held at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur. Prestigious tournaments such as the All England, Indonesia Open, China Open, and the BWF World Championships are all available for both pre-tournament and live betting. For SEA Games and Asian Games events involving the Malaysian team, Monkey88 also provides dedicated odds that reflect the current form of local players.
For players who follow the badminton scene closely, there's a real edge to be had. Knowing Lee Zii Jia's backhand weakness against certain opponents, or that Aaron-Wooi Yik has an impressive record in third sets — details like these can lead to far more informed betting decisions than relying on odds alone.
One of the most exciting bet types at Monkey88 for football fans is the accumulator — also known as an "accumulator bet" or "parlay" among experienced bettors. The concept is simple: pick 3, 4, 5, or more match outcomes and combine them into a single bet. Every selection must be correct for you to win, but the multiplied odds can turn a small stake into a very significant payout.
A simple example: a 4-fold accumulator over an EPL weekend. You pick Manchester City to win (odds 1.65), Liverpool to win (1.55), Chelsea to win (1.80), and Arsenal to win (1.75). The combined multiplier is 1.65 × 1.55 × 1.80 × 1.75 = 8.04, meaning a RM10 bet returns RM80.40 if all four selections come through. That's exactly why accumulators are so popular among Malaysian EPL fans who bet regularly on monkey88.
That said, accumulators carry higher risk — a single unexpected result is all it takes to lose the entire bet. The smart play is to keep accumulator stakes small and treat them as a supplement to your overall betting portfolio, not your main strategy. Monkey88 offers accumulators across all available sports — not just football — so you can combine selections from football, badminton, and tennis into one exciting accumulator bet.

The smart approach used by experienced bettors
Don't make betting decisions based on gut feeling or emotional support for your favourite team. Check the last 5 matches, head-to-head records, and home vs. away form. Monkey88 provides all this data within the platform ahead of every match.
The absence of key players can completely change a match's dynamics. A star striker out injured, a central defender suspended — this information is often not fully reflected in opening odds. Always check the latest team news before betting, especially for the Liga Super Malaysia, which may receive less coverage on international platforms.
Accumulators are tempting for their high multiplier potential, but the risk multiplies just as fast. Keep your accumulator stakes to no more than 10% of your daily bankroll. Use accumulators for the thrill and the chance at a big win, but don't make them your primary Sports Betting strategy at Monkey88.
Live betting works best when you're actually watching the match. Look for situations where the odds haven't caught up with what's happening on the pitch — a dominant team whose odds have barely moved, or a red card that has drastically shifted the balance of play.
Before each session, set a firm limit on the maximum amount you're willing to stake. This keeps emotional decisions — like chasing losses — in check, as they often lead to even bigger losses. Use the deposit limit feature in your Monkey88 account settings as an extra safeguard.
The best odds aren't always the highest ones. Look for situations where the odds on offer are greater than the true probability of the outcome occurring. This takes deep knowledge and consistent analysis, but it's the foundation of profitable Sports Betting over the long run at monkey88.
Fund your monkey88 sports betting account using popular local Malaysian payment methods. All major options are accepted with no additional fees charged by monkey88.
Minimum deposit RM20. E-wallet withdrawals processed in 15–30 minutes, bank transfers in 1–4 hours. Minimum withdrawal RM50 with no fees charged by Monkey88.
Monkey88 offers both real sports betting and virtual sports on the same platform. If you're new to Sports Betting, it's worth understanding the difference between the two so you can choose what suits your play style best.
Real Sports Betting gives you the advantage of applying genuine in-depth knowledge of the sport you follow. If you've spent years watching the EPL, understand team tactics, know who performs well against certain opponents, and consistently follow transfer news and injury updates – all of that knowledge translates into a real edge when making more informed betting decisions. The odds offered at Monkey88 for real sports betting reflect probability assessments based on statistics and analysis, but there is room for knowledgeable bettors to uncover hidden value.
Virtual sports, on the other hand, offer unmatched frequency — a new match every 3 to 5 minutes, 24 hours a day, regardless of real-world schedules. It's perfect for days when there's no live sport worth watching, or when you want something faster that doesn't require in-depth research. Both options are available on monkey88, and you're free to switch between them whenever the mood strikes.
Monkey88's Welcome Bonus of up to RM388 can be used in full for Sports Betting. The smartest approach is to put your bonus credit toward pre-match bets with higher odds — Asian Handicap or Over/Under markets typically offer better value than a standard 1X2. This way you can work through the bonus rollover requirement while giving yourself a real chance to grow your winnings with your sports knowledge.

Featuring a multi-discipline format that includes MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Submission Grappling, ONE Championship puts on a truly exciting show with stars from across Asia, including several familiar faces well-known to Malaysian fans.
MMA betting at Monkey88 is quite unique compared to other sports. Beyond picking the winner, you can bet on the method of victory — TKO/KO, submission, or judges' decision. Betting on "any method" for your chosen fighter gives lower odds, while betting specifically on a KO in the first round, for example, offers much higher odds. For MMA fans who truly know each fighter's style, these more specific bet types can offer excellent value.
UFC delivers action almost every weekend, with major UFC Pay-Per-View events drawing tens of millions of viewers worldwide. For big UFC cards, monkey88 opens pre-event odds well in advance, giving you plenty of time to study fighter records, fighting styles, and recent match statistics before placing your bets.
Sports Betting is entertainment and should add to the excitement of watching a match — not become a source of financial stress. monkey88 strongly encourages a responsible and sustainable approach to all betting activity.
A few important rules to always keep in mind: only bet money you can afford to lose entirely, never chase losses by increasing your stake, avoid betting under the influence of alcohol or when you're in an emotionally unstable state, and never use borrowed money or funds set aside for daily expenses. Set strict spending and time limits before you start every betting session.
Monkey88 provides a full suite of account management tools, including daily deposit limits, session loss limits, and temporary or permanent self-exclusion options – all accessible directly from your account settings without needing to contact anyone.
